I love this, it really fascinates me to see that you did the character and then the background on the last one, but sketched both. I do it a lil different where I'll lay down the base color blocks of the sketched background then start the character before polishing it all at the same time

I guess when I sketch the background concept I feel more at ease - like I have the plan for the piece figured out. Plus the truth is that I've never been doing backgrounds, I only started challenging myself some 3-4 years ago, and I still don't really know how to do them, so I don't have a good process yet and just fumble around XD I do REALLY want to make time to practice backgrounds and perspective and such soon though. Thanks for another lovely comment! :3

That's valid as heck, I love seeing how people learn and progress! Heck I've only started doing backgrounds in the last year or two myself, it's a fun challenge!
