Interesting idea, but not a great photo.
First off, I agree with the person who said to go for a higher aperture, giving a larger depth of field (which would make more of the pieces sharp and in focus.)
The lighting is also pretty bad, too. If you could have managed something like you did in "The sith lord", this would look a lot better.
There's a bit too much blank space to the sides.
Interesting idea, though, and the overall shape of the word pyramid thing came out very well. I think you should retry this under more controlled studio conditions (like with "The sith lord") and you'd be surprised at the results.

It's the f/stop. You can change shutter speed and f/stop, among other things. A bigger number = a smaller hole = more focal range.
