I hear ya.. I'll never forget the time I found one tucked in at the side of my bed.. He wouldn't stop chirping, and I couldn't find him for the longest time!! When I finally did find him.. heheheh.. Um.. dead cricket.. VERY dead cricket..
I love listening to them outside, but I kill them if they find their way into the house.. Same with wasps and yellow jackets.. I chase them with scissors if they get near me or my birdies.

Easiest way for me to kill them.. Their sting is worse than a wasp's.. It could kill my birds too, and I just brought home a new baby parakeet tonight!! His name's Riley, lol!! He's so cute!!
But yeah.. Nothing threatens my kids.. I'm a protective mommy.. lol!!

I have no clue.. There was a little girl (maybe 6 or 7), and her name was Riley. She helped me pick him out, and I decided that was gonna be his name, lol!! He's funny, but he worries me sick!! He tries stuffing himself through tiny gaps in his ladder (and succeeds), and I walked in my room one day to see his tail feathers sticking out of the cage. On closer inspection, he's laying on his back in his food dish.. not moving.. I tug at his tail, and he leaps out and starts angry chirping!! I was terrified that I'd lost my brand new baby.. He does it all the time now, lol!!
It's a very painful insect if it stings you.. Nasty little things.. They look like wasps, only their smaller and black with tiny yellow stripes.. They're evil.. I very strongly dislike wasps, yellow jackets, and hornets, or anything else that can cause me or my birds harm.. Speaking of which.. Summer is nearly here, and that means the brown recluse will be coming back..

Heck, yeah!! Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Poppycock, they're so yummy!! I just had part of a bag of Poppycock tonight!! It's big, fluffy popcorn glazed with peanut butter, and it has chocolate drizzled over the top!! It's SO good!!
