More practice. It was meant to be a speedpaint... but it ended up taking me forever, lol.This scene's from The Secret World of Arriety, which I saw last month. Used a reference picture. I really enjoy the backgrounds of Miyazaki movies! All the detail... it's wonderful, but painful when you're drawing it yourself. xD

Yeah, I think a lot of Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli movies have really nice backgrounds. All the credit goes to the creators of the movies. Mine's just an attempt to imitate the style while I admire the scenery with you, haha.

Thank you very much! Haha, all it is is just a copy of Miyazaki's work. Of course I couldn't beat the original... the landscapes in his movies are beautiful.
