Some little drawings of my UM team so far (missing one but I'll get him later)! I refuse to draw oricorio pom's wings the way they look because those are not aerodynamic x.x I went with extra floof instead. They're inked in comic liner and coloured with my copics~ Colours are a bit bleached (especially the yellows); I'll have to try scanning it some time.Sierra, Ajax, Peony, and Noodle~ I'll post the other two when I have time to draw them (and also get a sixth because I still don't have one)
Peony has been a life saver; I had to go back and get her because I may or may not have tried to fight an araquanid with just a zorua and a cyndaquil. I was hoping I could hax it into oblivion with extrasensory but uhhhhh yeah bad idea. She's been wonderful though and has handled almost all of the trials totally on her own. I didn't think she'd really hold her place since she doesn't evolve (and therefore has only average base stats) but she's been crushing it.

And photoshop! I just selected around the lineart with a magic wand tool and then deleted the background. I think you can do something similar with sai but I don't have it so I don't know~

Nope |D I wanted a jangmo-o when I ran into one, but I can't seem to find one with a passable nature/stats to use so I guess not. I haven't been planning my team, just catching what feels right as I go.

Pom form is my favorite Oricorio form!Β Β I trained one for a while in Sun and in Ultra Moon. I stopped training my Sun one because I already had Alolan Raichu as my electric type, and I'm still unsure if I want to keep training my UM one or an Ampharos since I already have Flaaffy. Hardest decision ever. T^T

You could always just swap the form! Ghost/Flying has a whole lot of immunities as far as types goes, and it's pretty good offensively too. Alolan raichu is really good; I would've grabbed one if I ran into a pichu but I never did. Ampharos is also cool vov
Baile is my fav oricorio form but alas I can't have a 4x rock weakness when I already have Noodle

I might end up doing that because I told myself I'd only train Pokemon I've never trained before (Oricorio counts because I didn't keep it on my team to the end in Sun), and so far half my team I have trained before. xD I may remove Ampharos for that reason, because I trained one in Heart Gold and in Gale of Darkness, but it's hard. T^T I also have a Zorua, but I've trained Zoroark in Black and in Black 2 and now I don't know if I want to swap it out later or not because I'd also like to train Minior and Alolan Sandslash. Argh.Β
I didn't run into any Pichu in Ultra Moon either so far. I found quite a few in Sun, but I don't know where they'd be in USUM.

How did you get Noodle by the way? I know some starters you can get through the Island Scan, but I don't know about Johto starters. =O Did you do Island Scan in S/M and trade to USUM?

I bred Noodle for myself in Sun and then traded over an egg VoV I imagine the original parent was traded up from an earlier gen.

Me too! What I usually do is when a new generation comes out I only train Pokemon from that generation, and if a remake or sequel comes out like USUM or if I just happen across the counterpart to the one I have cheaply (found Pearl and White at yard sales for $4 each *o*) then I'll train Pokemon from different regions since it's my second run through the region. Although there are a lot of times I trained the same one twice because I couldn't resist. T^T
Ohh I was thinking of doing that with Minior so I could have it earlier in the game, but now that I have Dusk Lycanroc I can't bring myself to switch out my Rock types. =<

Same! Except I just use whatever in counterpart games, usually a mix of new and old. I've never used a pokemon twice in game and I don't plan on it; I like changing it up. I'll be repetitive when making comp teams, lol.
I never got myself a dorito dog; I wish I'd gotten the game earlier ;o; But yeah I never have the heart to swap mons out unless they're seriously sucking and thats pretty rare. I kept my basically useless liepard for my whole white run (and he was fainted for almost the whole elite four... lol). He just had painfully average everything and terrible defences. Which I guess is how leipard works in general.. gotta run that obnoxious prankster set |D

I never have the heart to swap them out either if theyβve been on my team for so long. I also do a mix of new and old sometimes, like in UM I have a Growlithe that I was never planning on keeping on my team, but I got attached. Iβve never trained one before, but itβs great! Just weird having two orange dogs on the same team.
Now I want to name my Lycanroc βDoritoβ...
