Cronen acknowledges that he may make sometimes bad decisions! Well, sort of.He did actually behave himself and didn't do anything reckless. We ended up having to fight anyway which was unfortunate, but the effort was the important part. Ori tried to thank him after, but he brushed her off, SO still not fixed, but hey its progress!

So y'know that small town with an unspecified illness we stopped at to get magic wagon fuel? Well apparently it was wereboars! Which I'm sure is just like the common cold; no big deal. Shit happens constantly.
We decided to take a cautious approach to dealing with the group of them we found, hoping they could be reasoned with or tell us how to help them. It really didn't go too great, and we ended up having to kill them, which nobody enjoyed (also they kinda fucked us up). It mostly sucked because they didn't actually attack us, but we had to go back in and attack them because they were too dangerous and possibly contagious (we never figured out how it was spread; doesn't appear to have been by biting - jury's out) to leave alive. Our DM is very good at forcing us to do shit that feels terrible, but is really the best option.

In general, or in this strip specifically?
The main people we're going after are necromancers, which is an issue because a) goes against the natural order/cycle of life and b) they're planning to attack a bunch of innocent people and try to forcibly conquer land.
This bit specifically is before we decided to attack a family of wereboars, because while we wanted to try and help them, they've been killing guards and infecting other citizens of this town. In the end we decided it would help the most people long term if they were disposed of.

If they weren't a threat then yes! That's why we tried to approach peacefully first in hopes of finding a better solution.

Ok cool beans. But even if someone is a threat. Werehuman or not. If there is a city why not send them to prison or jail. Dont they have one? Or is the only way to dela with bad people is to kill them?
