Regardless, AFAIK, the Mandos never really wanted the Cathar dead as a species out from a hate or anything, they almost-wiped them 'just because' during the Mando Wars. Also is to consider that the last of Mandalore the Ultimate's army completely fragmented into clans and individuals with their own ideals in the end of the Mandalorian Wars, and they wouldn't be reunited until Mandalore the Lesser bannered them under the Empire, and even in that point individual clans rebelled, like Cadera and Ordo, who claimed allegiance to the Republic. Given the differences inside their own culture, is easy to assume not all Mandos would even hate the Cathar at all during TOR's period.
Now, Cathar hating Mandos because of the genocide? That's other story.
