I started modelling some sci-fi buildings in Cinema 4D of my own since I feel like I need to build up a personal stock so I can bring them into Vue and do just this But it got so tedious after modelling just the first building that I seemed to have put it on a permanent state of on-hold I set myself to make at least 12 unique models to avoid too obvious repeating instances

What I really find impressive here are the low buildings that make up the base of it all, particularly noticeable on the left side. Are those models too or just very clever use of procedural terrains?

Exactly what I did! The lower levels are made up of around 40 or so greeble buildings on four different planes, each material includes a random generation of the buildings at different sizes. It works really well! I have no idea how to use procedurals to generate metal stuff Wish I knew haha.

For this piece, I used Cinema 4D(for buildings and ships) then Vue(for the environment and lighting) and finally Photoshop for the postwork, lights and textures. Once again, thanks man!
