Honestly, what's so terrifying about a human-looking creature who sucks your blood? I mean sure it can be slightly intimidating but...a huge wolf-like beast has to be more terrifying on basis level. Also the best vampires are the classic ones, the ones that sparkle are horrifying in a different sense.
