Awesome work man, I think all thats missing is a rainy day background hah. On a side note what kind of set up do you use for digital art.

Thanks a lot! I thought about it too, but my backgrounds need work before I start poting that here.
To be fair it's not 100% digital. these deviant categories need some work.
I draw it in pencil first, 4h, 2h and HB. And scan that in, then it's all cs2. I'm running an old Wacom pentablet, like 5"x6" if I'm not mistaken.
I'm not sure if that's what you were wondering. If not, I'm willing to answer any other questions you have.

I understand, sometimes backgrounds are the hardest part to do.
On the methods you use, yeah I completely understand I used to do work like that but moved away from it. Nothing like getting your base image down on paper first before moving it over to editing software, and way to go on the Wacom I loved those things. Thinking about buying a new one to get started back on stuff other then brush or camera, I destroyed the old one after years of use heh. (Moved away from traditional and digital art because I'm such a horrible self critic I could never finish anything and I'd stop half way through always trying to correct something - never know when to stop leaving it alone! )

I'm pretty similar actually, but this ultimately is what I enjoy doing, so I will myself through it, or start over, whichever. I actually want to get started on more traditional work, oils intrigue me.

I love working in oils, it is a incredible process if you do it right. Otherwise you end up with a heap of cracking flakes or still liquid ooze heh. The real problem though is it takes so long to cure as it doesn't so much dry but normally its not to much of a problem if you don't go in thick and sloppy. Oh yeah and the Toxic, Toxic, Doom hidden inside of its unassuming being.

Haha, I'll keep that in mind, I'm working my way up to oils, starting with acrylics, making a process for myself. Being self-trained, it's going to get messy.
