Alma.
The name of the caretaker of the Nook, hard working, kind, experienced. A living blessing from Chii as without her, the continuation of the Nook wouldn't be what it is today.
She is also mostly always busy.
She is also a name Asa still feared until he asked her a favor.

It was a calm summer afternoon, the Nook was having one of its rare moments if peace from the always usual days of everyone being up and about going here, there, everywhere around, in, out around the Nook. But not today.
At times like these Alma could be seen checking over things swiftly with ease. Once, twice, a third time to make sure.
With that she allows herself to relax in the peaceful day for what it is, though she was ready, always ready to give her attention to anything, anyone who may come up as she keeps a careful ear out.
She was about to allow herself to doze off for just but a moment until the sound of something being dragged along the floor along with small steps, a wyngling no doubt. The first thought was that one of the wilder wynglings was dragging their catch, it wasn't her first time that has happened and will certainly won't be her last if it was, but it was a small relief that that wasn't the case as the source of the sound came to her view.
A yellow wyngling with an old washed out satchel in disrepair, a child she recognized as Asa, a good child for sure, one that she remembers well from how he has managed to sneak out the Nook during the day without anyone noticing, not even her somehow which was very out of the ordinary since not only was the child young and not even trying to sneak out on purpose but was also yellow. Alma put that thought to the back of her mind as she smiled at him, knowing what he was about to ask.

Time went by, with Asa staying by Alma's side while she worked on the satchel for him.
They talked, Asa getting to know Alma more as she recounted stories to him, mainly how the Nook came to be along with her first years taking over. She also told a few stories of some of the one's she cared for, from the first egg she had full responsibility over from her work to even her own children, all the while looking back fondly of those memories.
By the time Alma finished repairing his item along with what has really given more time on it; a flower to represent the soon to be the owner of it, a detail overlooked by Asa as his attention was completely captured by her stories.
All fear of Alma faded with the time he spent with her. He smiled and gave her an overjoyed hug, so much so that he had tears in his eyes from how grateful he was.
Alma just smiled while giving a small chuckle as she rubbed a caring hand over his head to which her amusement he seemed to grow out a tuft of hair from the action. She seems to smile more as even after the many years, the small moments like these always gave her joy, whether it be a calm or busy day in the Nook, she enjoyed the life she has.
