"Bunyips are the hippos of Australia - they're large, lumbering, and incredibly lethal. A larger cousin of the Elephant Seal (with the largest exceeding 27 ft, or 8m long), Bunyips prowl the rivers of the Australian continent, preying on anything from crayfish to dogs and mid-sized marsupials.
