It's a gorgeous and impressive building, and the grounds certainly are charming. Your composition does a fantastic job of capturing not only that but also the sky in just the right dusk lighting with the interesting effects of the clouds. The viewpoint and angle work great for capturing the entire building in all its glory; using the sculpture and fountain pool for the foreground highlights the expanse and detail of the grounds while also giving a beautiful reflection of the building in the water as it just begins to freeze. I admire your patience and skill.
How did you keep the little spotlights around the pool from overpowering the scene during the exposure?

Thank you for your comment.
To prevent over-exposing by the high lights, I use HDR technique (High Dynamic Range). The photo is made out of shots with different exposures (shutter speeds). The image information of the high lights are taken from the darkest shot.

Thanks for the info., and now I must compliment your post-processing skills too. Seeing shots like this tempts me to get some real equipment (SLR, array of lenses, hardcore tripod, etc.), but for now I can enjoy your pictures and others'.

That is just awesome. The sharpness of the statues and the reflection in the water are extreme... very nice
