Description She was waiting for him. Even had his beverage waiting for him. But why didn't he come? Why would he leave her waiting?
(And why did he forget his lenscap on the table? )

Do you remember the beautiful Sarah? Of course you do. No way you could forget .

I love the soft light and the shadows in this picture. Even the way the coffee cups are arranged on the table just fits the mood perfectly.

Thanks . I wouldn't be possible without the strong support of... the waitress . No wait... if I recall correctl, it was even a waiter. Well, I want to hear one person again to mention that guys don't know how to handle table arrangements .

The first thing i noticed with this photo is how really nice the lighting is. I can't see anything specific that would make the lighting stand out, but the contrast between your lights and darks and the midrange greys are stunning. The framing is really nice too. The placement and sharp focus on the model against the smooth light shades of the background looks amazing too. The mood of the photo captured is really beautiful too, with the expression on the model's face and the setting, and it doesn't hurt that she's really pretty. Overall a rather gorgeous photo.

Great capture, being an absolute novice about photography that's about all I can comment on but I do like what I like. Good thing he left his lenscap or he might forget to return, leaving the door open for an opportunistic photographer to stop and ask "oh, is that my lenscap by chance?" and sweeping her off her feet (errr, chair).

foeo In reply to SoulCatcher78 [2005-10-27 03:42:46 +0000 UTC]

Good idea with the sweeping. (Damn, why didn't I think of that? )

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SoulCatcher78 In reply to foeo [2005-10-27 03:49:43 +0000 UTC]

With beauty like that in front of you, it's a wonder you could think to take the picture much less anything about sweeping. She is truly a wonderful subject and her pose says it all, the faraway look, position of her hands, all meant to be directing us to wonder "who/what/where/when" about her. If this was a spontaneous shot, all the more wonderful that you were able to get it before real life set in.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

foeo In reply to SoulCatcher78 [2005-10-27 12:36:19 +0000 UTC]

No, it was not a spontaneous shot, it was set up. We have been shooting all day and were phasing out at a cafe, where I did the last photos of her for the day. Have a look at the other photos of her (link is in the description). She's a beauty on all of them .
(And it's really been a hard day shooting with her with all the restraining myself .)
