First thought when Twilight sprung the trap on The Heart, and all those crystals leaped out?‘NOOO! Twi’s gonna get impaaallled-- Oh wait. She’s fine? Whew... ^w^’
Glad that didn’t actually happen (couldn’t have anyway, since this is still a kids’ show) but it’s a deliciously dark thought.... so I drew infected Twilight, who would totally own Sombra and take all the crystals for herself~

Ah, this is great! Also, you're not the only one who thought that--me and my Beloved Spouse kept wondering if the evil magic was gonna overtake Twi or something, but then it never did.
Evil Twi would've been able to trounce Sombra in mere seconds. No doubt.

The non-corrupting facet of Sombra's shadow-magic makes me wonder if it's really 'evil'. Celestia used it fine, and after what happened to her sister, you'd think she'd be extra careful about that sort of stuff...
Here's to hoping it comes up again in the future, I guess!

Brr, just imagine a beacon of evil, spreading darkness and crystals all across Equestria! Now I bet THAT would have looked awesome. In need of fixing via Harmony, yes, but still cool while it lasted~
