Slightly different to how I approach things but a nicely laid out tutorial. Very good clean look, and I like your examples of base colours to dithering up the top.

As it should be, everyone needs to start somewhere. It's a great tutorial - the only thing I do different though is I do the base colour first then outline it. I find this easier to work quickly. Great tutorial though, very simple and easy to follow
