Done with Zen Brush on iPad.A Zulu warrior takes on a Sarmatian noble. These things are surprisingly easy and fun to pump out.
The Sarmatian would not have fought on foot given the chance. And he definitely wouldn't have used his long lance (kontos) at close range. But it makes for a dramatic picture.

Not sure if Zulu weapons could cut through sarmatian laminar armour, the Sarmatian do have better chances to win

Maybe... He would have been quite clumsy on his feet though. That armour is not designed for dueling on foot!

Lol, that's true, early laminar armours were ultraheavy, but still imo the Sarmatian would beat the Zulu, cause a single strike is enough to knock the unarmoured Zulu down!
