Sliding across my armIt’s a drug I got to take
It’s a dire need
Following in depressions wake
It’s a part of me I cannot stand
But I can’t let it go
I need it with me
Oh I need it so
They think it’s easy
To just leave it behind
But they can’t know
That it gets on your mind
You’d give much to leave it
I know you would
But it doesn’t work like that
Even though it should
It’s a constant battle
One that you may not win
Others might not see it
Cause most of it is fought within
To hurt oneself
And to feel the need
of pain is a path no one knows
where it might lead

this is good but it jumps between talking about you and then your audience. was that done on purpose?
i have had those feelings and had a hard time stopping as well. that was years ago tho and i finally just stopped. it was really hard but i had to!

yep it was done on purpose, it was done 'cause I wanted to give the feeling of that almost everyone've been there.

it was never a suicidal thing for me nor was it an attention scam, i was just addicted to the feeling and the look of it. my good friend and i spend all of junior year of high school snorting codeine and making our scars thicker. i'm so glad she moved away! i love her but she's seriouly a lost cause!!!
anyways i got out of it. my family started to notice and letting them down is something i can't live with so i made myself quit cold turkey. it was hard and i do find myself wanting to do it but i'm better than that now
