Aw! Thank yee~! I'm pleased with the results but I don't want to design armor ever again! XD The only other times I've had to design clothes for Ancient Blood was for Cheese and Yavni/Rhem . Ruby makes her own outfits in the story, so her's change a lot, but it's always dressed and simple little pretty things. I love designingΒ characters... just not the clothing! Hahaha!

Thanks! I haven'tΒ drawn a "cartoony" expression on Cicero in a while (mostly because the story has been pretty tragic for the last 15 chapters or so) so it was nice to be silly again!

That's some really nice design work! ^^ Tho I've always wondered why you draw ebony weapons with blue in them. :0c Are they enchanted with something that makes them glow?

It's just because it makes them stand out better. Drawing them black drowns out the details unless I add shine and I don't believe the ebony weapons should be shiny except on the edge of the blade. Basically, I'm not good at doing contrast on all black objects (I also do a blue highlight on Krow's hair, as you've pointed out before) or white... which is why I suck at making Ruby's hair look 'normal'. If I drew realistically, it would probably be a different story since I'd be using the natural; lighting pallet of the scene, but since I use a brightly colored comic-looking style, it's just easier to highlight with blue and it looks pretty. Highlighting with white on black makes it look washed out and bland in my opinion. I also draw Cicero's hair too orange and high light it with red and yellow at both ends of the spectrum. I've dulled the orange down closer to brown lately, though. But Cheese will always have that "neon" strawberry-red hair. What can I say? I love bright colors. Drawing everything red and black all day for the Dark Brotherhood stuff gets boring, so highlighting in bold colors looks nice, imo. ^^

I never use white to do highlights - the shine would be less obvious if you did it as less bright blue? But yeah, if you wanna do bright stuff, then you do you! :>Β

I like the bright blue. Jade's hair is my favorite color. It's the only shade of blue I really get to work with among all of the characters since Elder Scrolls isn't super colorful (for my level of colorful) unless you are wearing mages robes and Sage has failed me in that department. More red and black! LOL! Tripp's robes are dark blue/black but it's not as pretty. ^^ Blue is just a rare color in the faction I've chosen to write about. XD

My favorite color is purple and I too rarely get to work on it when I draw stuff (unless I draw some of my non-fandom OCs, or my main from GW2). x) But maybe you could design a casual outfit for Sage that would have pretty blues in it? Like for him to blend in if he goes to town or something. xD

Its at the end of the movie it's kif's wedding with the horrid love so. I love technology but not as much as you but I love technology or something like that. XD Oh btw the funeral potatoes were awesome and make for goof left overs so if you want the recipe

I haven't seen the movie in many years. "Always and forever" is something Cicero says often in my story and I knew you hadn't read that yet so I wasn't sure what to say.

It actually looks pretty good. Personally I would try and mix together both the uniforms of the Dark Brotherhood possibly either with the Oblivion design or the Skyrim design, most likely the Oblivion design since he originates from Cyrodill, with Cicero's jester outfit. That way it would fit in with the origination he's with and at the same time keep his original flair as an insane jester with knives. Like lets see here...he can keep the cloak over his shoulders as well as the belt that holds the hand sign, the stitching on the cloth is also fine but lets give it the stripes but with shades of red. Underneath the cloak collar he could also keep the collar that his jester outfit had underneath the original cloak collar. There can also be stitched patches here and there on the cloth bits of his armor, boots got to have that toe curve maybe just keep the jester boots but put either metal or leather plating on the foot to give it a more fortified look, and for the waist like his original outfit keep the underskirt.
In summery, you want to have Cicero to have his original jester's outfit but make it more fortified and enhanced to match with the Dark Brotherhood instead of him being a jester who wanders around a crypt all day applying oil to an old woman's rotting corpse.

In my story, Cicero is no longer mad and is trying to distance himself from what happened. That's actually why he looks so mortified while looking at this new Jester outfit. His old one has been destroyed. Well, repurposed I should say. He was wearing his original Cyrodiilic shrouded armor for a while before this. I did use some of the characteristics of that armor on this one like the cloak and the bands on the arms. I used a lot of influence from the Morag Tong outfit in ESO. I didn't want to use that too heavily since they are enemies. I really wanted to stay away from the Skyrim faction shrouded armor because I got so sick of drawing it when I first started this story. None of my characters wear it anymore except for Sage who is wearing the shrouded robes. That's easy to draw so that's not a big deal.

Ah okay then in that case for this armor you've done rather well, keeping the original shrouded armor from Oblivion but taking bits and pieces here and there from Skyrim's shrouded armor and Morang Tong (I'm guessing it's because your character Zukira helped in the making of Cicero's armor since they're a Dark Elf)

Thank you! β‘ it always felt weird to say that he pulled something out when he really doesn't have a lot of places to store things on his body besides the little pouch on his belt. So this just puts my mind at ease.
That sword is actually very important to the story and the white streak in his hair is not from his age. He's only 40ish at this point. I'm sure he has a few natural gray hairs especially with what he's gone through but this streak was a "side effect" from something else. Hehehe!

The gray streak is a side effect of the "kiss of death" (more detail on what happened with that this weekend). But you are very correct. Poor boy needs a vacation! Maybe a nice party is in order?
