I finally got some inspiration. ^_^I was inspired by this song; Total eclipse of the heart - Bonnie Tyler. It's a good song. ^^

Well, in the drawing you can see my creature falling apart.
Maybe you didn't notice yet, but you can actually look inside this creature. And I've always drawn the heart as an orb of light.
But now it's an eclipse. Total eclipse of the heart.

Very nice job with the details and the coloring! I imagine drawing all of the chipped pieces of the creature was very hard to do, or at least took a lot of time. The misshapen, cracked background also adds to the feeling of chaos in this piece. The even, red aura also adds a nice touch.

Actually it wasn't difficult to draw or something, but it did took me alot of time to finish it.
I started drawing this in the weekend, but I didn't know how to finish it yet. You know, the colouring, the background... At first I was afraid to finish it, becouse I didn't want to mess it up. So I was thinking about colouring it with the computer like I did with some older drawings, like red eyes and the flying serpent night dragon. Becouse you can always undo mistakes on the computer. But a few days later I decided to colour it with pencils , I even came up with a nice background.
I think I finally got a name for it too. Yesterday I was doodling again and I ended up drawing this creature again. But then a cute version.
And out of nowhere I got a name ... Ecelion.
I don't know if I should give the name to this 'scary ,not so cute' version. But it seemed nice for the cute one.

Sounds like a nice name to give to the darker one to me. I know how you feel about being afraid to add a background for fear that it'll mess up the work. I've left many a drawing blank just because of that.
