Gah, Hyde looks so darn evil, but without looking evil. I know that makes no sense. haha. I don't think there are enough words for me to describe this picture and how amazing it is. I must admit, Hyde's top hat never ceases to make me chuckle. Keep up the excelent work my friend.

I'm sorry if this has already been covered, but the name is incorrect. It's Dr. Henry Jekyll, not Harry.
On a much more optimistic note, the compisition of this piece is truly phenomenal, in both it's quality and representation of the characters, Hyde ecspecially.

I am so sorry, I wasn't aware he had a nick name. But my opinion on the picture still stands.

This is . . . fantastic. You really do the Jekyll/Hyde concept justice, without making Hyde look like he came crawling out of a swamp. Always impresses me.

Yes. YES. This is so perfect; if I ever wanted to show someone the book in one picture, this'd be it. Great, great work.

Wow, nice composition! Great job on the whole thing, from the costume and lighting and the phial. Very traditional, something like the book.
What really caught my attention was the shape of the picture. The rounded corners aren't something commonly seen anymore.

Wow, this is such an amazing interpretation of Jekyll and Hyde! I love the fact that the Hyde isn't deformed or anything, just looks exactly the same as Jekyll, but evil.

Part of Hyde's character is that he has "an odd sense of deformity but is not deformed"

I know. But when people try to portray him they just make him deformed anyway in order to make the sense of deformity clearer, therefore destroying the ideas in the book. I commented that I liked it that Hyde is not deformed, and therefore sticks to the descriptions that Stevenson uses in the book.

Good then, just making sure that was clear
And I agree completely, I think the whole idea of his character is to make him sinister without looking deformed.

Yeah, exactly. My English class found that very difficult to take in.

Lol. It shouldn't be that hard, i mean it's practically handed to you
But I guess some people just don't comprehend classic literature

I know. Seriously.
I read the whole book in 2 days and analyzed it myself, and I didn't even have an assignment lol

I think I read the book in three days on and off, because I had the essay to write. It was so great, but the people in my English class just didn't appreciate it.
But to analyse it yourself without and essay to write, that's pretty impressive. What did you analyse in particular?

Well, my edition also had this essay in the back about some totaly bullshit, but that's just how my brain works
I was mostly looking at the psychology of it. I came to the conclusion that all of us have a little bit of Hyde in us... but that's sorta obvious I guess I just really think it's more of a statement on the state of humanity than a fictional story, though it does a good job of both.
Sadly, when you have to do an assignment on something people tend to not like it

Yeah, I noticed. xD I just like it if I like it, if that makes any sense. lol
I agree that we all have a bit of Hyde in us. We just don't have Jekyll's remedies.
Yeah, Stevenson did a good job with it.

Unfortunately. Though, Jekyll's remedies probably wouldn't do us much good, seeing as it killed him.
