Description
This is Kaylin, my former slave character, done up in a different style. She's more rounded in the face, lighter in the skin tone.Also experimenting with different lighting.
Got done and thought she looked a little like Merida from the movie Brave.

haha. You're right, the hair does make her look a bit like Merida (holding the arrow sure doesn't help! XD)
Nice revamp though~ I think it helps her a bit. She's supposed to look all cute and stuff, but is pretty tough and can kick your arse, right?

Yay~I got it right! I think the rounded face definitely helps ahaha.
It's a-going! Had to take a break from personal bits and making Avengers cursors to work on a painting for someone's wedding. It's nothing major--just a fancy border around a fancy "Just Married" text. Can't wait to get back on some other stuff though. ;D

I remember you telling me about that picture. I hope everything's looking awesome and working out for you on that project. I sometimes am surprised by the challenges that occur during a project. So here's to hoping that you don't encounter any!
I'm actually trying to get back into projects. I haven't done anything more than sketch in a long time. I need to work on some personal pieces that can be added to my portfolio. Currently I just have pieces from work and I'm getting a little bored with it. So I'm off to draw some images and improve my coloring in PS.

And yes, you should defintetly do that. I'm slowly getting better with my digital pieces, but I was hoping to do a few small sculptures or whatever before class starts back this fall.
