the return of the man with the utility knife
he comes around at sunset on hot humid evenings to stand in sprinklers or get into people’s pools. he’s neutral yet parasitic of human resources of cold air and water. sometimes he will break into a house to have a cool shower or stand by the AC. he’s always trying to cool off. the “bloodletting” cuts are to release or bring to the surface his blood which he believes is too hot. during the day he hides in sewer grates or under people's porches. anywhere cool and dark.
