Description Drawing Project, in which we had to demonstarte lighting and space in a unique manner.

My choice?

First I developed the designs around a set object I HAD to include int the drawing. Then I bent around the shape like wrapping paper around a present. The next choice was I decided to have the brightest warm colors signify the light source and moved my way down the darkest cool colors in area's where the light did not reach.

Lastly I had gray values help further define the shape, and that was that.

Not the greatest thing in the world, and I could have executed this project better (such as better formation in the designs, and more color gradation) but I'm still happy with how far I got on this.

Done on A4 Construction paper with PrismaColor Colored Pencils

Very nice! Good use of shading, depth, and color.

Plus, it makes me wonder if this is something you'd see when you're high. I'm messed up like that XD

Oooh.... So pretty. I love the soft transition of colors. It's nice to see something colorful without using too many values. Cuz then I get confused on the center of focus.

I'm really not the fan of colored pencils (too much work for any results) My prefered traditional medium is watercolors. Oh how I love thee watercolors ^_^

This is really cool, its surreal and there seem to be some 3D elements to it too. The colors you used go together very well and the designs are really neat looking ^_^
