Oh? Its not too different from my usual methods. Perhaps it just the result that comes with working with this particular type of character.

No, but he is one of my personal favs as well~ That's 'Spike' a major character from the show. [link]

Honestly outside of having a smaller nose, his design is very similar to that of a Yoshi.
