{Moluna:} First thing to note is this panel was done well before hearts and hooves day was even a rumor. As a writer I really could have suggested it started ages before Twilight was even born, but then there would have been other problems to worry about. For one, why in the world would Twilight have become Celestia's pupil if she did this regularly? [and no, not because she wanted it or anything else perverted, lol]

That and then i'd have needed to write up additional script to support completely redundant material we'd never touch on again just to cover past generations of ponies getting molested. That would be filler on a naruto level, and two strips in no less! [for the unfamiliar, the team behind naruto wrote and drew tons of completely pointless episodes simply to produce an episode.] So this is what you get. We really want to get things to Chapter one, and that won't happen if we have an absurd amount of stuff to write and draw up!
