So here is my Ezio pauldren so far. As you can see it is almost finished just needs to be stained and then I need to add the rings on the front and the rope ties. I'm fairly happy with the result, the stitching got a bit messy in the front because the bottom piece (piece on the left of the picture) didnt match up exactly so I had to improvise. The tooling design went ok but I still wish it didnt seem so busy. I'll have more pictures when I finish it of course.oh and sorry for the random mess of picture near the bottom lol I suck at paint editing.

leather. The black stuff is craft foam that was covered by a second layer of leather.

thanks, yeah I've been working on it for about 6 months now. Almost done though. I had to rework a lot of stuff unfortunately I wasnt happy with how it looked at Acen.

hey, are you gonna highlight the tooled areas, or otherwise keep them lighter? If so you might want to lay down some kind of "resist". I totally forgot to do that with mine, though at this point, I'm liking the darker better...

hmm didnt think about that. So far using the antiquing gel its made my tooled areas a bit darker, but they are clearly lighter in the game. I may just paint down some water on them because doing that on some of my prince of persia stuff made that area significantly lighter. Thanks for the suggestion I would have never thought about it.
