Description Watercolour painting on aqua primed painting board.

My submission to watercolorist group Twisted Reality contest. Theme was animals and idea to come up with a creature that is mixed up from different animals.

I wanted to practise painting wings, so I chose Tawny Owl and cat. This creature lives on north and hunts mouses at night. Its wings desinged by nature to fly silently and eyes to see very well in moonlight, it is a rare for a human to actually see the hunt.
