Well if i make similar to that, many ppl will say that i copied that character. Therefore if i bought that than i own it, i don't have to worry about that character..

Then buy a custom and quit complaining to people. It's just a design. Big woop if you don't get it. You don't need to erase drawings in your sketchbook, just finish it then submit it as gift art for the winner. There are people that will not accept that kind of guilt tripping to get adoptables they design (myself included, though I'm not sure forestglade's policy on guilt tripping) and so even if you guilt trip others out of the design you still won't get it :/
Not trying to be patronizing or anything though I realize I am. It's just because this sort of thing really gets on my nerves :/
On a more positive note, if you would like to offer for adopts (sort of an auction but not really) you can check out my own adoptables here [link] All of the open adopts are in that main folder. Or you can check out the folder of adoptables that I've faved, since there's plenty of good ones in there (though a lot are closed at this point) [link]

If you don't win then AFTER the auction is over you can privately note the person and discuss it with them. Maybe you could come to an agreement about like sharing the species or something.
