Stunning picture. I love how you avoided temptation to get most of the sun in the picture and waited until it had just sunk beneath the trees in order to take the picture. The colors in the sky are marvelous, you must have a great camera to capture them as carefully as you did.
Another thing that I really like about this shot is the fact that the ground in the foreground of the picture is almost completely dark. It adds to the ambiance of the picture nicely, making you wonder whether it's a grassy field, or a rocky patch, or a stream. I love the way that it gets the imagination going.
The only thing that I would suggest is something in general about sunsets. Most people can take a picture of a marvelous sunset, it's all about catching it at the right time. If you want to get a truly unique shot, don't focus on the setting sun, but turn around and see what the glow is being cast onto. From that will come some truly extraordinary pictures.
