Description
A first Anniversary keepsake gift for my Husband. Who spoils me with love.The Macramé design around this miniature wine bottle, was created as I went.
I made a small quick sketch however, of shapes for the best possible placement for the beads.
I hand stitched together, and hand painted the leaves on the leather pouch for the bottle.
The miniature scroll that goes inside, I also hand made and painted.
We had a lovely time at Paradise Cove, in Malibu California.
I bet you can’t guess? What happened after?

Me too! I love the idea of a special message inside the bottle. It closes with a piece of natural colored waxed sinew thread, and a small wood bead.Your glass bottles are very beautiful!

"Wow" does not do this piece justice, but it's all I can come up with after several days of very little sleep. So, WOW! The scroll is by far my favourite part, the details are so realistic. Looks like you found an authentic scroll and shrunk it down! I'm wondering, how large is it?

Thank you! the scroll is 2'' wide, Very thin rice paper was used, just fits inside the bottle. Hope you catch up on some sleep.

That bottle is possible the most beautiful macramé I've ever seen! My knotwork pales by comparison, I'm afraid. Your husband is lucky to have someone who obviously loves him so much, to have put so much of herself into a gift for him.
