Lucia is a bit of a timid girl when first introduced. She always has been and at this point it’s just something she’s accepted. Though, for some it would probably be better if it stayed that way.
            Lucia is a fairly mild and sweet girl who does her best to stay positive and be nice to everyone! Honestly, if given the choice she would be friends with everyone she met. While well meaning, she can be a little much in the personality department. A bit of an airhead to some, but more of a day dreamer in her own opinion, Lucia is one to get stuck in her own stories, maybe even at times drifting into mild delusion, it could seem. It’s always been that way though, she does her best to make herself sound like the interesting person she believes she is. She’s not by any means a liar however, she just loves to imagine she could be more than she actually is.
            In reality, Lucia is deeply bothered by the fact that she is by all means, a generally average person, that being a major source of insecurity for her. She’s really just a girl who doesn’t know where she fits in so she tries to be larger to life, even if it alienates her from others.

  ‣ History
            By her own accounts, Lucia was born to be great, the very picture of someone with a looming destiny. As long as she can remember, Lucia has been missing her right eye. She’s never asked her parents, but then again she has never been sure they even knew why. Yet, it is with a special eye and a “super special” ability that the young Lucia went into the world!
            And she really didn’t enjoy it. Teased in elementary for being some weirdo with an eye patch and a huge blind spot, Lucia had trouble making friends. She never understood why, it was just an eye. Kids were kids however and Lucia grew distant from many children she went to school with because of it. That was the real start of her issues, but a solution was forthcoming. At some point in her elementary school career- Not even Lucia remembers when it started- the young girl had played to her type advantage and somehow convinced kids all over the playground that she had a magic eye that foretold the future. Telling all children near and far (well, within the fences) that she had an amazing gift of prophecy and mystery.
            Of course it wasn’t true, but as they were kids, many were inclined to believe the girl with the messed up eye and the power to move things with the convenient use of confusion. However, as they all grew up, children turned to preteens and of course stopped thinking anything about it. But not Lucia! No, this was far more interesting. Even without the real ability of divination, she enjoyed the thought of it all and thus began her odd and morbid obsession with all things curious and otherworldly.
            In the mean time she grew up, went to high school, tried to figure out what to do and honestly never planned on attending college. At her parents behest she applied to whatever college she could find, before stumbling onto Mirage College, where she plans to further her education, or in her own words, “Do whatever, I guess”.

  ‣ Hobbies
Lucia enjoys reading and learning more about all things occult. It’s a weird fascination of hers. She also loves acting and story telling, and more unremarkably, sewing.
