Love the lighting...
That explosion in the centre looks great.. but theres one bit where you can see youve made a fairly big rectangular selection and just pressed delete. I find using the liquify tool to get rid of the sharp edge, followed by the blur tool can help u disguise it pretty well..

I like it though

Really digging this. Great color scheme. Nice 3D 2D mixture. Lighting looks awesome.

2d really kills this one man.... the brushing is almost an interesting concept of the bubble exploding. Just next time lowe the opacity on the 2d, add a border, and modify the colors from the original. Lookin good though.
