My first try with doing master's studies. I think I can learn much by doing these, so expect to see more soon.

Couple things though, I hope you don't mind: His neck is popping out too much, perhaps because the neck's saturation is too high and his shirt is too dark? In the thumb-size (in my deviantWatch list) I thought there's legs pop-out from his neck. Heheh.
One more thing: Overall, the contrast and hue-shifting in the face area is a bit too much. It's perhaps the nature of digital media where you can't be sure of the monitor's colour accuracy, so you simplify the values relationship. Just be careful when you do that, cause you could make the shape shift from what you originally intended.
I hope it can help you in some ways, cuz that's what I'm trying to do

Jej, super to wyszło. To faktycznie świetna metoda, by się wiele nauczyć.
Zachowałeś przy tym swoją "malarską" technikę. Twój Yakovlev jest nieco ładniejszy - ma mniej krost xD

Ło, matuchno!... Nie no widać postęp, serio - coraz bardziej :3 Może i nie będę umiała się odpowiednio plastycznie wysłowić - w sumie po porównaniu z portretem zamieszczonym w linku widać tu większą miękkość, ale w pewien sposób zdaje mi się, że (zwłaszcza partie twarzy) tworzą wrażenie mocniejszej głębi. Ogólnie przyjemnie się patrzy, jak ktoś tak ładnie umie

Wow! My inexperienced eyes say that that is an EPIC piece of art. The detail on the face is amazing (especially the ear, left me gob-smacked.)
