Description For those of you who may be struggling with doggy feets, here is a little 'tutorial'
I will probably do some more of this as these are only a few of the angles you will commonly find.

A. Shows the inner side of a forepaw. Note that weight is carried on this foot so the toes are more angulated.

B. A different angle of the forepaw. Not all dogs have dewclaws as they are often removed when they are puppies. However, dogs can have multiple dewclaws on one foot!

C. Is a forepaw from a top view. The paw isn't touching or is lightly touching the ground and bearing no weight. Thus, the toes are even level with the leg.

D. Outer side of a forepaw. Dogs do not have dewclaws on the outer side of their feet. It would be like you having thumbs on the outside of your hand, lol.

E. Forepaw in a running motion. The toes are extended to reach out and grip the ground when they land.

F. Outer side of a forepaw in running motion. This foot is about to hit the ground and the toes are in position to absorb the impact.

G. Outer side of a forepaw that is lifted and at a slightly rear angle, as you can see the pawpad.

H. Another lifted forepaw. Dewclaw shown, as this is the inner side of the foot.
