Never, ever, EVER leave out the makers and/or publishers logo, EVER! Even if it looks like sh*t on the front, it MUST be there. They're paying good money for the game, and spent a lot of time on it, so if it wasn't there, if you handed that to them and said "Here's my work," they'd throw it back in your face.

I love Dart, and I understand that he is the main character--and the black and red do go well together--however; the box art doesn't exactly tell me what the game is about, it just gives me some cool graphics. I can figure out that he's the main character, sure, but where are the other characters or any of the dragons?

I can understand why you put the name of the game where it is; however, it might be better if you did one of two things. Either A) Kept it where it is but put a bit of a black outer glow on it to make it more readable, or B) Shrank Dart a bit and put it at the top where it would be more visible against the black.

So~ sorry if my critique is a bit 'harsh'. It's all objective though, to help you see things from another's point of view. It's hard to look at a piece of your work and critique it because usually you end up getting attached to it because of all of the hard work put into it. But hopefully this will help you if you have more box art.
