- POKEMON / HUMAN: Mudkip

- HOMETOWN: Eterna City (generally!)

- HISTORY: As soon as Demitri hatched out of his egg, he was traded over to a young girl in Eterna City from his original Trainer. The girl's parents were rather strict and didn't want their daughter to go off on any Pokemon journeys, so she and Demitri spent a lot of time together in Eterna City. In fact, throughout the twenty years of his life thus far, he had been by that girl's side.

Between educational hours and sleeping ones, the two liked being outdoors, where they played games with each other and gardened every now and then. When the girl grew up to be a lively teenager, she received her own Explorer Kit, and began to take an interest in archaeology and mining. This interest rubbed off onto her Mudkip, who became more than excited whenever she brought him down to the Underground.

( The girl's parents were never too fond of Demitri, and they had attempted to trade him off to some passerby without their daughter knowing - twice. He figured that he would never earn their favor, no matter how hard he could try. You can't really please everyone in the end, huh? )

The days that were spent with her, though, were never meant to last. The girl had grown up to become a very bright and optimistic young adult, and recently got accepted into a university in Nacrene City - a place that was very, very far away from Eterna. She had planned to take Demiti along with her, but her parents were extremely against the idea. ( They were persuaded that her Water- type friend wouldn't get accustomed in Nacrene City, seeing as it was in a completely different environment and in a different region altogether. Besides, they never liked her Mudkip, and an opportunity to keep it away from their daughter would be something terrible to pass out on. )

For the sake of the girl that raised him, Demitri insisted that his best friend should go to Nacrene City without him, and that he would find a way to her one way or another. No sooner had she taken up his offer and boarded the plane set for the Unova region did her parents release him. ( He was happy when he was released, though; he didn't have to face those people any longer! ) Using this to his advantage, he was free to sneak into a plane and be off to what he believed would be the Unova region.

Sadly, that wasn't the case. Demitri ended up in some region other than his preferred destination. Confused, but not disheartened in the slightest, he ventured outside and hopped into the first bus that he saw in hopes of gaining a few clues towards getting himself closer to Nacrene City, or a place that would offer a job and food.

Little did he know that he was going to encounter a certain Luxio and get an offer that would change his path permanently...

He hopes that, in Pokette Town, he can gain enough money to afford a (proper) bus and plane ride to Nacrene City. ( Unless he gets too comfortable...! )

- HOBBY: It's no surprise that Demitri is an outdoor Pokemon. He enjoys swimming in the river or ocean, and he likes gardening as well. What he adores most, though, is digging and finding treasures and fossils. Since he shared Underground experiences with his human friend, the feeling of being underneath the earth is something that is familiar to him, and he finds a lot of comfort and happiness while he digs.

He is also constantly window shopping, so when he isn't digging, one could find him staring at the latest furniture or clothes. And if he isn't window shopping, he is buying some clothes - rather plain-looking ones - at the Able Sisters' shop. If he isn't there, then it is very likely that he is at the Museum - namely the part that displays the fossils that the residents of Pokette Town found. He enjoys reading the information that was written about the discoveries that were made, and can stay in the exhibit doing nothing but reading and admiring for hours.

Of course, digging comes first. Digging always comes first!

- JOB: He really wants a job, but he currently doesn't have one. He is willing to run small errands for others in hopes of getting a small bit of Bells back, but a real job would be nice, too!

- FAVORITE FOOD: Fruit sandwich (with some water!)

- FAVORITE BERRY: Ganlon Berry

- CATCHPHRASE: "Lil' skip!"

- ACCESSORIES: Nothing notable.
But, he is always taking his shovel around town, so would his shovel count...?

Additional Information:

Personality and Quirks: Demitri is a hard working individual who can work for hours on end and still have the energy to continue. Despite this, he is always open for chatting and hanging out with other Pokemon. In fact, he loves it when he is with others; considering that his only true friend is now far away, he is ready to make new friends and create new relationships with others.

The Mudkip's sensitive fin can tell him about the current weather and movement among his surroundings, so he has the ability to become a superb fisherman or bug catcher. However, Demitri isn't too into those types of things, and only practices it if he is with a group of his friends want to go fishing/bug catching. Otherwise, he is digging or gardening.

With that said, he loves digging to the point that not even the weather or dirty and clammy clothes bothers him when he is making his way underground. For that reason, he is constantly spending money on clothes. He makes sure that he purchases the cheapest and plainest looking clothes in the Able Sisters' shop whenever his wardrobe is too mucked up with dirt to clean off the stains properly.
