An awesome and original concept, very well executed, as well! Love the dynamism in the characters' positioning and the perspective, as well as the shortening on the tools. Mind you, I do find it sadly ironic that the whole thing is in digital, lol. Maybe you could do another version of it where the traditional knight is actually done with traditional tools? (and then either photomanipulated in or maybe a collage?)

I've never really understood this argument, since the two aren't mutually exclusive. TV hasn't replaced film, film hasn't replaced books, and so on. In the same vein, digital and traditional art just achieve different things.
Anyway, I love this piece (especially the design of the digital artist).

What a wonderful painting and unique concept. I love Digital and Traditional paintings I'm getting better at both and I'll be uploading some projects with both. I think more than 95% of artists that know digital they also know traditional. You really work a lot creating a piece but you fall in love with a traditional piece than digital because digital becomes a automatic copy (there's never a original). Traditional: even though you can create copies with traditional, there's always a original. Even buyers will appreciate traditional over digital. With Digital you can create art you will probably never do in traditional but Traditional has heart and will never die. Digital will never have a chance. Great job with the concept!

Why fight when they are but the same. Two spirits on the same quest on the same mission. Creation. They should join sides, and smite those who make them fight, as art is universal and free.

logically traditional would win, plus their is more traditional the wold like 3rd world then digital. y2k was a threat to digital some thing similar as simple as power outages could defeat digital.

I think both types will always co-exist, digital will continue to grow in popularity as
the technology improves, but the smell of paint is too addictive
