im laughing so hard, not at the art. but the fact that i quite literally JUST told my sweetheart, "should i save up for a cintiq tablet, or stick with pencil, paper and a scanner?" then i stumbled upon this xDDD Great job on this piece man!

I'd say it's pretty even, both formats have their pros and cons. The thing is that most artists have to start out traditionally anyways, because digital art in general is very heavily based on traditional methods.

Digital reminds me Judge Dredd and Traditional reminds me of Ian McKellen.
Really a great portrayal and humanization of two different mediums, although I daresay they are not truly at odds with each other; the digital medium may be extremely popular, but after the power goes out it ceases to exist. Traditional methods of art can never really die, though we might pass them up in favor of the easier, cleaner and more versatile tools of the trade at present.

Traditional art is great, but digital is great too, I just can't let them finish "STOP THE FIGHT!!!" XD
I love the concept, the old traditional knight vs a modern digital soldier, it's just great ^^. And those details in the ground. Yep, you deserve very much the DD, and congrats ^^

I love this concept. It is so well rendered that I did not notice the tools as weapons at first. I am having a hard time deciding who would win. Both characters look quite fierce.

Perfect execution. I really like the image and the dynamic movements of both Traditional and Digital.
The cheering audience and the knights and the brush on the ground add a nice touch.

I'm a traditional artist, but I like digital art as well as traditional work. You can achieve awesome things with both, so I can't decide.
But in this case of a death match, I'd go for traditional.
