Green matches orange, but I like the purple better probably because it's darker (luminosity wise) despite still being bright (saturation wise).

Indeed, when I think of the word 'Shadow' I think of dark blue, black, and purple.
Plus orange and green make her look kinda like a pumpkin (color wise). xD

Haha indeed carrots are green and orange as well. I say stick with the purple. Or you could always try blue, but that's up to you. I always thought orange+blue or orange+purple where nice combinations. Speaking of orange and green sadly my first fursona looked like a carrot till I changed her. xD

lol i did try blue.. and honestly i liked that outcome better.. but then.. i thought it looked to much like ~Ash-Dragon-wolf 's old sona XD shes now vengefulspirits now XD and i didnt like that.. :b so i was left with green or purple X) i might just end up making the green one her "insane" form or something.. and the purple her normal form X)

Yah I watch her, I can see where that could be mistaken but try maybe an off blueish purple, or a different shade of blue. : )
I just out grew mine, I made her when I was with my ex and when I was an annoying 12 year old. Now-a-days I try to keep my designs more with a natural coloration, but I love people who have neon colored fursona's (depending on the color match up).

lol XD yeah.. i could do that.. i think im either gonna make her have dif forms.. or change the colors of her depending on the pic? and so do i XD i moved a week or so ago to ~Hipster-pup .. with a new sona and stuff.. because i didnt like all my sparkle on this account X) but then .. i decided it didnt work for me... so i moved back X) my fav colors for designs are colors of brown.. the issue with that tho, is that on MS paint.. it is SO hard to get a good shade of brown, or the shade u want ... well.. for ME it is anyway XD but i still look at some sparkle dog designs and think "pretty" c:

Yah I love browns, I used MS paint when I started and now I use Easy Paint tool Sai (but my tablet broke so I can't draw ATM).
But yah browns are hard to find in MS paint xD.

yeah.. >.< well if u cant think about which one u like better, try to think about which one is more me? i like the green cus it goes with orange.. but then again, the purple does to, but not as much, but it also follows the "shadow" theme to D; lol
