nice shot - having a good model who can communicate and give more to a shoot than being just a prop is very important, as evidenced here great use of negative space - gives real emphasis to all the lovely textures in her hair, clothing, and her striking facial features/expression

...i'm not schooled and really entirely on instinct - the hope being i don't create derivative work - perhaps you're saying i succeeded here...

...it was a bit of a trial deciding if i liked this reverse version of my usual use or so-called 'negative space' (my girl has a photo degree so she keeps me up on the lingo - i just shoot :-P) but in the end, yeah, i dug it too...

I actually like this one more than the rest....the hair covering one eye is nice...and there is such an honesty in her face....and i love the emptyness beside her.

...thanks - it was hard to actually put up, since i'd experimented with this sort of shot last year with very so-so results...
...a little more skill than back then and a superb model helped...
