Dreams are the natural habitat of succubi, they are attuned to the ebbs and flows, uniquely capable of controlling and directing them. Carol, though, is not a very traditional succubus, enjoying the world of humans, and refusing to imitate the lifestyles of her more promiscuous siblings.
This has rarely worked to her advantage, as her blunders in the way of the succubus always reek of neophyte.
