When picking up, one should think what the "spikes" between frills is made of. So I suggest taking a time to think of it with the two options:
1. If they are made from scales like the majority of the dragon, then the options 2 & 4 are the best choises. Option 2 gives more character to the dragon in my opinion, since blue/light blue looks little plain.
2. If they are made from same material as horns or are part of skeleton, then the option 3 is the best choise. Not only it is more logical, but it also gives more balance when thinking the coloration on head.
Hopefully this helps you decide.

You should go with something more original like these. [link] [link] [link]

I've realize that you and Moonlightelf have been fighting over the situation, but I'm not mad at either of you. I'm glad that you made a suggestion to be more original, which I should, but this was mostly a character that I could easily draw for practice. I should have said something to you but I'm sorry for the misscommunication. Also thank you for the comments on my other artwork I just hope that you and Moonlightelf apologize for the unnessacery comments

Yes, I feel the same way,she should not have lashed out a me like that.ppl should not speak foe someone else,or stick their noses in like that. But even so, If she had said more nicely that my comment was a little offensive, our conversation would have ended more quickly and peacefully. But when ppl get all high and mighty toward me like that, i think that's much worse that that short, vague comment i made.So yes, i let her have a piece of my mind, because, I have learned the hard way in the past that i needed to stick up for my self more. But i just could not get her to see that the important thing was, that my intentions were not bad.She just keep going on and on so, I decided to block her because it's not appropriate to obsessively lecture a stranger like that,It just says EMO.But i made the mistake of thinking i could get a person like her to understand my view point so,when she wouldn't listen,I told her how flawed i thought she was too.-Oh well,It's over now,I'm done with it.We'll both just have to agree to disagree, as the expression goes.

You should go with something less original like these. *insert links to fandom like Spyro or Naruto here by person saying that to you*
You wouldn't want to hear that as advice for your art, right?
So what you said is not exactly the best thing to say to another artist. Yes, you are good, but it doesn't give you right to say "you should go with this". Let people draw what they want for Goddesss sake.

Actually most ppl like different ideas, She asked for help, so i show her something off the top of my head. And then someone like you, who does not like constructive criticism, even to the point that you have to comment on someone else comment has to get all self-righteous, miss quote me, and take an innocent suggestion out of context. I think you totally took that the wrong way.

Yes, most people. However, here wasn't asked help to make more different, but opinion over which design would be favorite/suitable. Not a whole new idea.
Stay in context of what is asked.
And I'm not the only one who found what you said rude. I asked fellow worker and few other people's opinions. Next time it would be better to put some thought into what you write to avoid the misunderstanding here.

I may have worded it badly but, She still asked for help, and i was the only one who was encouraging her to decided on her own, instead of letting ppl pick an idea for her.

Not everything needs to be decided on their own. Sure, one can give guidance. And later when I saw, I gave some help to decide by referring the material the spikes are made from, if you didn't happen to notice.
A dull way to "encourage" is exactly how you worded it first. And you worded it really badly. Think how you would like to receive such advice if you ever wanted help or guidance yourself. You wouldn't want it that way either. It doesn't justify the rudeness when asking help, nothing does.
And I'm not going to go to fan-service area now with this. Because some do fan-service and want people be involved in their project. And that might be what she wanted, get people involved with the fun.

I was not rude. You still don't get it. And yes i have thought about it. I've received constructive criticism before and i know the difference between rude and trying to be helpful. I may have been vague in my comment, but not rude. There's nothing wrong with the suggestion i made, and ppl like you who don't understand the you have to expect that sort of thing when you post your stuff on DA should just let those comment's be between the commenter and that person.

If you know difference between the two, why you decided to type one line leading to people instantly think about rudeness? No one else has your brains. Again, you may not have intended to be rude, but you came accross rude way. Plus, those links could have lead elsewhere.
You gave impression of rudeness, deal with it. And again, more than 5 people have thought it rude.
If you try to be helpful, write more than one line. Stay in context. And look at the gallery before writing more. You might want to draw something original. Someone else wants to draw something else. Again, deal with it.
As far as originality goes by the way... nothing is original anymore, just rarely seen.

I don't care if your friends or whatever think so too. Typing one line does not make it rude. And giving links doesn't either. Lots of ppl put links in their comments. And on the subject of rudeness, You have no room to talk.Going out of your way to comment on some else comment cause you don't like it just makes you come off as one of those ppl who like to stir up shit for the attention. You come across as stuck up,nosy, and EMO.

And you come over as obnoxious and egoistic know-it-all artist, who doesn't acknowledge others opinions, but pushes their own thinking to others, with that statement now.
And let me tell you something about myself now that we got to that. I rarely speak and am quiet person, because usually I don't have much to say. I am not emo, and my life is in good situation. I don't stir up for nothing. I am not interested in most of the things.
And just to let you know, pay a visit at her profile. Scroll down to comment section. She was thankful for me for "going out of my way to comment on some else comment".
Have a good day.

I did not push my opinion on her. Like i said, it was a suggestion. And as for the ones she had, i do think #2 is a good one among those ones. And clearly you are stuck up thinking you should speak for others. She could have told me herself if i upset her and we could have worked it out without your nose in it. And on that note, even we could have talked this out more politely but, You were too self righteous to say nicely "That was taken as a little offensive"
So-You have a nice day.
