Description
Another picture? And so soon? Yup, you bet! I've been working on this picture forever. But I finally decided it, so for that, I am really happy. The shading was a lot of work and I knew when I saw the model, I had to try and draw it for myself. I am really happy with the way that it turned out but there was a time during the drawing that I got so aggravated with it, that I actually wanted to throw it away and forget about it, but I'm now glad that I didn't. I've also been wanting to do another pin-up, but I just didn't have the motivation or inspiration until yesterday. And a classic style too, 40s war pin-up gals! :]Feedback and comments are always welcome!
Utensil(s) Used: .7mm mechanical pencil, Q-tips for shading
Time: Approximately 2-3 hours.

The shading is great! Her right arm is kinda wonky, but the design is just wonderful

Thanks! Hmm, I don't see a problem with her right arm. Perhaps it's just a personal thing.
Thanks for the comment!

Thank you! I wanted to make sure the expression was a sultry, yet some-what innocent look.

Certainly looks period specific though I'm saying this from seeing the pin-up calendars and from playing L.A. Noire recently.

Well I know that L.A. Noire takes place during the 1940s, correct? And thank you for your comment!

Yes it is the late 1940s to be precise though there are war time flashbacks that do to some extent tie into the present day events of the game.
For much of the game so far, the player controls a character first known as Officer Cole Phelps and later on a case breaker - he's made a Detective. So its Patrol, then Traffic, then Homicide, then Vice, and lastly Arson.
He's a rising star though some of his actions/decisions mark him.
There's also mentions of the Black Dahlia - a rather infamous murder that may or may not have been the work of a serial killer. Meaning several cases lead towards a rather grisly conclusion that many who have been charged with murder by Phelps were not so guilty after all.
The real killer plays mind games with the LAPD though naturally Phelps is the only one who manages to decipher the paper trail that the killer leaves.
There's also a rather enchanting lounge singer though I probably said that earlier. Ever since L.A. Confidential I have had a thing for period crime stories.
They also used motion capture to duplicate real faces to be used for the characters in the game. All of whom have been in television or films in the last half century.
