Description
in the shadows of the trees
and against the mountainside...
So old and trained
are the people there,
against what is not theirs;
so much do they despise.

Behind the bars, and under the bottle,
the men practice such tradition
as to leave our women home,
and with the drunks,
they socialize.

Every home has a rifle,
and every gun a target.
to kill for either dinner
or a trophy, still...
it was expected.

There i was,
from the outside looking in,
the one who didn't belong,
and so awkward was i
to be so open
and unafraid
of what they had to hide.
