Of course! They're very smooth, and the thickness is complimentary of the style. What pixel size do you use?
The arrows and rope add such a rustic feel to it, it makes me feel really happy with it. XD You should totally draw her riding her Manta Ray! (I believe that's what animal it is supposed to be. I was stalking a little.)
I used photoshop for my lines as well. I did this for the recent DTA kaymedelynn.deviantart.com/art⦠and I'm not very happy with the lines. They're way too thick.

I like your entry, honestly I really love thick lines and wish I could work with them, I find whenever I try thick lines they don't turn out as I had hoped

Well I haven't really been much of a digital artist; I'm more traditional. So the concept of line thickness threw me for a loop, and I don't know how many times I drew the lines for this and re-did them. I'm so traditional, though, I literally drew it by hand and then scanned it onto my computer before using my tablet.
I'm trying to get better at digital art, so I'm really glad you like it, thank you! And yes, you should totally draw her riding a manta! Then have like smaller rays in a school around it like...being all happy and shit. Lol. I can see it now. SO ADORABLE.

Yeah, it is quite a bit to get used to, I find that I'm rarely happy with my lines, which is why I generally prefer a lineless style. And I know quite a few people who actually prefer to do their initial sketches traditionally, I think it is more natural for most people : >Β
And yes that sounds precious, and he lives by the water as well so I'm sure he'd have plenty of opportunity for it aha XD Although he may be scared of going too deep, he's so used to just staying on the shore ;o;
