You're very welcome Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch (: Did you follow any tutorial for the background? It's beautiful and I would like to learn too

Well, I didn't use any tutorials, but I'm sure there are some out there.
I don't know if this is what you mean, but before everything I maped out a somewhat limited colorsceme for the entire painting in my mind (greens, browns and greys for the foreground, and blue and reds for the background).
Otherwise I just used some photographs and paintings (primarly this one for the colors since it's acrylics too: Horns20: Chasmosaurus ) as refernce for the sky. It was mostly me trying out different things.
But if it helps, I started with just painting the basecolors for the different areas of the painting (except for the creature and the part of the trees in front of the sky), but already put in some basic shading and light.
From here I started with the sky and tryed to create some kind of transition from dark blue to red for the sunset (sun would be somewhere off the painting).
I don't know much about digital art but from here I just used a small nylon-paintbrush for the vegetation in the background, the dinosaur an the treetrunk. The front vegetation and leaves were done with a bristle-paintbrush to try to provide for the structure.
I hope that somewhat helped, but otherwise I'd just say look for other paintings or photographs as refernce.
Maybe next time I can document the process of painting a little, if it helps you.

Thank you very much for the kind answer it will help a lot! The color scheme is a great idea,
it's Always better to have a plan before starting
I'll apply it to digital painting, it's still quite difficult for me to draw backgrounds (I usually concentrate on dinosaurs )
Danke

Kein Problem!
I think we all struggle a little, but everyone loves a good dinosaur.
