Description
You probably know that I already uploaded a drawing of Suevoleviathan a while ago, and let's just say. It was pretty bad! The proportions weren't right, the overall drawing wasn't nice and it looked nowhere near it's fossil. And the fossil just looks so beautifull: Suevoleviathan .So I decided to redraw my favourite Ichthyosaur in a more accurate way, and here you have the result. I know that the last one was supposed to be S. integer but I decided to go for the type species that has this beautiful fossil and they probably weren't to different from each other besides some obious differences in the skull.
Suevoleviathan was a Suevoleviathanid Neoichthyosaur from the Posidonia-Shale, Lower Jurassic, Toarcian of Holzmaden Southern Germany. At the moment S. disinteger and S. integer are exclusivly known from Holzmaden, Baden Württemberg. It would have been about 4m long and therefore not have been the biggest Ichthyosaur of the Posidonia Shale. It would have shared it's habitat with other Ichtyhosaurs like the famous Stenopterygius and the much bigger Temnodontosaurus as well as the weird looking Eurhinosaurus but I don't want to get into to much detail right now so that's it.
I hope you like it.
