Description  WARNING: HIGHLY INACCURATE
WARNING THIS RECONSTRUCTION IS HIGHLY INACCURATE! PROPORTION AND THE SHAPE OF THE WHOLE ANIMAL ISN'T REPRESENTIV OF IT'S GENUS. A UPDATED VERSION IS ALREADY DONE AND CAN BE SEEN IN MY GALLERY.

Suevoleviathan (S. integer).
My first actual reconstruction of an ichtyosaur and it's my favourite, the "swabian Leviathan" Suevoleviathan.
I think it's acctually even the first reconstruction of him on DeviantArt.

Suevoleviathan was only found in Holzmaden Germany from the Early Jurassic Period 182.7-174.1 mya and was about 4-6m long

As I already said it was my first actual try on reconstructing an ichtyosaur so if you see mistakes please tell me so I can do it better next time.

I mean it's a bit messy and maybe disproportionate in some areas, but nonetheless a nice first try.

Thank you,  I think that I maybe should have made a better known Ichtyosaur and not this one, but it is my favourite. I couldn't find a skeletal recostruction anywhere too just a while after I finished him I saw a skeletal reconstruction in a museum.

Also what do you mean with messy?

All good. Sometimes some taxon can't always gives us a good skeletal, especially when they're fragmentary.

I meant the parts of the flippers, head, ventral section of the torso's colors gotten rubbed out of the outline, making it look "messy". If that part of the comment sounded offensive, my apologies for not pointing that out.

Yeah, I have realized that now too, its actually a common thing on all of my uploaded pictures but I try to fix it.
I tried to fix it on my Suevoleviathan, does it look better now?

And No your comment didn't sound offensiv everything is fine with it.

As long as you know it & there's a way to fix it, it's fine. And yes, it's much better now

Ok, glad it was't
