Description
I've always wanted to live in a treehouse. I've also wanted to live in a hobbit hole! I love nature and organic architecture. When I watched Hercules and the Circle of Fire, Chiron lived in a gorgeous treehouse, and I had to draw it with a couple modifications! So, here it is. Sketched it out in pencil and added some texture in Photoshop. Maybe some halflings could live here. Or it's a druid's home? Perhaps it's an orphanage. Or maybe a person-eating illusionist hag lives inside. Should you knock and find out?Related content

I love this! It reminds me of the houses from Winnie the Pooh too. Tree + shallow cave = whereIwanttolive.

Haha yes! And there would be magically no bugs or dirt, because, it's in my imagination anyway.

Very nice, I would also like to live in a hobbit hole
I like the way the house looks rather random, like the people that live there has just built out the hose whenever they needed more space

Funny you mention that, because there are some real life homes that the owners have excavated for that very reason.

Cool, though in all reality, beyond the coolness factor, living under ground like that for an extended period of time isn't very healthy.

I recall one home using skylights.

That probably helps a lot, though I was thinking more about the lack of venting such a house offers, it would likely be quite humid and even moldy

True, I suppose only problem that remains is to get the millions of money you'll need to pull off the project

It comes down to the composition of the rock, clay and dirt you're digging into.

I suppose you'll have to take such things into consideration too, there is a lot to think about when building a hobbit home I suppose
